Open Tryouts For Rapids Winter Indoor Travel & Academy Teams

Why Play Indoor Travel Field Hockey With Rapids?

  • It's great for skill development.  Why?  Because it's played on a hard floor, is fast and players learn how to control the ball for maximum success.

  • Helps to continue to grow the game here in Loudoun County to aid in showing the high schools we're ready for Junior Varsity giving even more players an opportunity to represent their high schools!

  • Rapids has awesome coaches who help our players develop great skills & confidence!  Three of our original indoor Rapids U12 team have become Junior Olympians.  All of our original U12 Rapids players have become key players for their high schools in their freshman year.

  • Competition for Varsity spots each year is fierce! We are proud of the skills we teach players and the top performing teams in Loudoun County have either several Rapids players, Rapids coaches or both!  We love seeing players grow both on and off the field.

  • Rapids has 2 options available this winter.  Open tryouts for both on Oct 14th at Rapids new indoor home in Ashburn at the Play To Win PAC, 44600 Guilford Dr, #100, Ashburn, VA.  Click here to register.  You can read more about the season by clicking here.

    • For players interested in being very competitive, 12-13 weeks of 2 team practices per week plus 1 conditioning practice and 4 tournaments

    • For players interested in improving who have limited time or 2 sport winter athletes, 12 weeks of 1 team practice per week on Sundays and 2 tournaments

  • Indoor field hockey is FUN!!
